UnderWorld Modelling Checklist

This checklist outlines the major steps necessary to run an UnderWorld model.

On a Cluster

1. see StableBuildOptions
2. choose a model template, create your own model based on the template and run it with UnderWorld

On Your Local Machine

1. check that UnderWorld will run on your local machine

2. read about where we recommend you locate your UnderWorld files

3. download and install software dependencies

4. set up environment variables
   • see UnderworldEnvVariables
5. download a copy of UnderWorld and compile
   • see UnderworldReleases to choose the version of UnderWorld and download method

6. test your copy of UnderWorld
